As the next chapter in our commitment to sustainable biodiversity conservation, we are proud to be part of the founding team of Khandige Environment Research Foundation (KERF).
KERF was born out of a simple yet powerful idea: if the destruction of forests and biodiversity can be driven by an economic model, then the protection of nature must also be built on a sustainable economic model.
Through this new venture, we hope to create a platform for environmental research, workshops, internships, and hands-on learning, with a strong emphasis on building a financially sustainable model for long-term conservation. A key part of our vision is to provide young people passionate about the environment with a stable platform to learn, explore, gain practical experience, and grow into professionals who can make meaningful contributions in their chosen fields.
Ultimately, we aspire to build a model that is scalable, inclusive, and capable of reaching wider sections of society. By making biodiversity conservation both ecologically meaningful and economically sustainable, we hope to move beyond isolated efforts and create a lasting, meaningful impact for nature and the communities that depend on it.
